The official presidential email opened last Tuesday by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to communicate with citizens has received 7,000 messages on the first day and had 16,000 emails by Saturday.
The president’s media office have divided the emails to complaints, requests, inquiries, proposals and thank you messages.
According to a sample taken, complaints messages grabbed 50 percent of the total, followed by 26.9 percent as thanking messages, then 20.3 percent for proposals and 2.6 percent for inquiries.
As result of the large number of emails sent, the media office team was forced to increase the capacity of the email in order to receive higher number of messages.
