Engineers Against Sequestration activists have called for a protest vigil Thursday in front of the Irrigation Ministry's Cairo headquarters, with the aim of warning Irrigation Minister Nassr Allam to refrain from challenging a recently issued court order abolishing 15 years of judicial sequestration of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate.
In a statement Tuesday, the movement also declared it would call for salary and pension increases for the country's engineers.
