2745 people registered for the parliamentary elections in Egypt on Tuesday, according to the Supreme Elections Commission (SEC).
Candidates applied in all governorates, the commision said in a statement.
The first phase will run from October 18 to 19. The second phase of the elections will run on November 22 and 23.
The door for registration will be closed on September 13.
