An official source at EgyptAir said five international and domestic flights were redirected on Wednesday due to continuing bad weather.
An EgyptAir flight coming from Medina and two other flights from Sharm al-Sheikh were to arrive at Borg al-Arab Airport in Alexandria, but were diverted to Cairo International Airport, while flights from Mumbai and Jeddah were flown to Hurghada Airport instead of Cairo Airport.
The source pointed out that though there are still some delays in EgyptAir flights from Terminal 3 at Cairo International Airport, 48 international and domestic flights took off and 41 flights were able to land on Wednesday.
