During the wave, temperatures are expected to rise in all parts of the country, with highs of a record 45C hitting Upper Egypt.
The weather to be very hot in Upper Egypt and South Sinai during the day, and very hot and humid in Cairo, the Delta, and the north coast.
The weather will grow mild but remain humid all night throughout the country.
Waves in the Red and Mediterranean seas will be moderate on Friday.
Winds will be active on Cairo, South Sinai and the western coasts.
High temperatures expected on Saturday and Sunday are as follows:
– Cairo and Lower Egypt: 39C and 41C
– North coast: 33C and 35C
– South Sinai: 41C and 43C
– Northern Upper Egypt: 42C and 44C
– Southern Upper Egypt: 44C and 46C
