The supervisory committee of the Jeddah International Book Fair confiscated 80 books written by Muslim Brotherhood figures, daily Saudi Arabian newspaper Okaz reported.
The Saudi Education Ministry had earlier instructed that a number of books written by Muslim Brotherhood intellectuals, including Sayyed Qotb, Hassan al-Banna, Youssef al-Qaradawy and Hassan al-Toraby, be withdrawn from school libraries.
Saudi Arabia lists the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
