Prime Minister Hesham Qandil on Thursday extended his condolences to Sudanese Vice President Ali Osman Taha and the victims of an attack that targeted an arms factory in Khartoum on Tuesday.
A statement issued by the Cabinet said Qandil told Taha Egypt rejects any assaults that violate Sudan's sovereignty and security.
Sudan, meanwhile, accused Israel of carrying out an air raid late Tuesday night targeting the factory, which caused it to catch fire. The fire was put out on Wednesday.
Sudanese Information Minister Ahmed Bilal Osman said on Wednesday that four aircraft had attacked the factory.
