Informed sources within the Salafi Nour Party said Tuesday that leaders are mobilizing forces to demand the government dismiss Hesham Qandil’s Cabinet and the prosecutor general.
The sources added that the party is devising a roadmap to create a front uniting opposition and revolutionary forces.
They also said the party met with 14 political forces and revolutionary coalitions on Tuesday to discuss the roadmap it will present to the National Salvation Front and other opposition groups as part of its plans to bring down the government.
“Our role is to unite against the government and the prosecutor general, who only work for the Muslim Brotherhood,” said Mohamed Attia, who took part in the meeting. “The president must meet the demands of the opposition that will not run in elections as long as this government is in office.”
