The Supreme Administrative Court adjourned to 7 December former President Hosni Mubarak, former Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif, and former Interior Minister Habib al-Adly's appeal against a court ruling fining them LE540 million for cutting internet and cell phone services during the 25 January revolution.
The defendants' lawyers called for cancelling the ruling.
Mubarak was fined LE200 million, Adly LE300 million and Nazif LE40 million.
Telecoms operator Vodafone said in January that it and other mobile operators had no option but to comply with the authorities' order to suspend services in select areas of the country during the peak of the anti-government demonstrations.
