Security forces have attempted to disperse ongoing clashes near Ramses, between local residents and Muslim Brotherhood supporters, by firing teargas in the surrounding area.
Police fired teargas bombs to disperse protesters, while the Islamist group’s members reportedly responded by hurling stones and fireworks.
Clashes led to a number of injuries, just hours after the Health Ministry confirmed at least 30 deaths on another day of bloody violence in the heart of the Egyptian capital.
