Walid Helal, chairman of the Export Council for Chemicals, said Egyptian industrialists support the constitution because it fulfills their aspirations and contributes to the establishment of a modern civil state.
“We support the roadmap to boost the economy,” he said, adding that he will provide factory workers with transportation to cast their votes in the referendum.
In a related development, the Egyptian Manufacturers Society is meeting with Amr Moussa, chairman of the committee of 50, to explain the constitution's potential positive effects on the Egyptian economy.
