A poll conducted by the Regional Centre for Strategic Studies said that two-thirds of Egyptians remain undecided over which political party to support in the next parliamentary elections.
Out of the poll sample, 14 percent also said they would not vote in the election, compared to 25 percent who did decide whether they would take part or not.
The poll, which was conducted on a sample of 1,500 Egyptians, shows "true representation according to demographic data published by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics."
It says that 60.7 percent decided to vote in parliamentary elections, but a third had not decided which party to vote for.
According to the poll, the individual candidates system is favored by Egyptians, "in light of these results it can be said with great confidence that such an environment is not suitable for the list system for parliamentary elections."
According to the poll, 14.9 percent of respondents said they would vote for the liberals, 8.5 percent for Islamic trend, 5.5 for leftists, and 5.3 percent Nasserists, while stressing 10.1 percent said they would not vote for any direction, in addition to 19.3 percent who did not know which current they would vote for .
Two-thirds of Egyptians, according to the poll, did not specify which political party they intend to vote for. The remaining third was divided between 6.7 percent for Wafd Party, 4.6 percent for the Nasserist party, 4.1 percent for the Nour Party, and 1.7 percent for the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party.
