The High Elections Commission on Tuesday denied rumors in the media about extending the constitution referendum until Thursday, saying the referendum is taking place on 14 and 15 January as decreed by the president.
More than 52 million people are registered to vote in the referendum that has been boycotted by the Muslim Brotherhood.
So far, five people are reported dead in clashes between referendum opponents and security.
