On Monday, the Judicial Disciplinary Council decided to re-launch an investigation involving former Prosecutor General Talaat Abdallah and his assistant, Hassan Yassin.
Meanwhile, the court postponed their trial to 14 June.
Both defendants are charged with tapping the prosecutor general’s office in violation of laws and regulations.
