The Ministry of Antiquities said on Wednesday that it is repatriating 12 artifacts from London at the end of June.
The artifacts were smuggled out of Egypt after the 25 January 2011 revolution.
A British court ordered the return of the artifacts without routine procedures.
“We will claim any smuggled artifact because we must preserve our heritage,” Antiquities Minister Mohamed Ibrahim said.
Ibrahim added that the Egyptian embassy in London received the artifacts on Monday.
