The security forces of Matruh Security Directorate thwarted an attempt by 114 undocumented migrants to enter Egypt through Salloum City at the Egypt-Libya border.
The 114 migrants are from 10 Egyptian governorates including 65 from Minya, 16 from Sohag, nine from Fayoum, nine from Qena, three from Assiut, two from Aswan, five from Behaira, one from Cairo, one from Beni Suef and another from Daqahlia.
The 114 Egyptian illegal migrants were arrested, a claim was filed with the incident and the military prosecution took over investigations.
