Stock indices rose collectively at the end of Monday’s trading, supported by purchases of Egyptian and Arab investors against sales of foreign corporations and investment funds.
The market capital earned LE7.1 billion to close at LE518.1 billion.
The main EGX 30 index rose by 0.2 percent, the small and medium stocks EGX 70 rose by 0.92 percent and the broader EGX 100 index rose by 0.66 percent.
Shares of 87 companies went up, while shares of 38 companies declined and another 35 remained stable.
