Egypt's Embassy in Israel has expressed Egypt's concern to Israel over the ongoing situation in al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement on Saturday 8/11/2014, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said the Egyptian Mission in Ramallah held meetings with high profile Palestinian officials, including al-Quds Mufti, to discuss the latest developments and efforts to deescalate the situation.
The Israeli occupation authorities have barred Palestinians under 35 years old from entering al-Aqsa mosque.
