The Egyptian stock exchange on Thursday closed in the red for the second consecutive session as a result of profit taking, with the EGX30 Index losing 0.91 percent to record 9,260.18 points on a total turnover of LE607 million.
The broader index EGX70 rose 0.49 percent to close at 626.22 points.
Foreign institutions were net buyers recording a net flow of LE9.52 million.
Egyptian and Arab retail investors were net sellers recording LE11.55 million and LE7.54 million.
Commercial International Bank and developer Talaat Moustafa Holding fell 0.8 and 1.2 percent respectively.
