The Egyptian stock exchange on Thursday closed in the red for the third consecutive session as a result of profit taking.
The main index EGX30 lost 0.32 percent to record 9,230.50 points on a weak total turnover of LE450 million.
Meanwhile, the broader index EGX70 rose 0.81 percent, and EGX100 up 0.44 percent.
Arab and foreign institutions were net sellers recording a net flow of LE20.82 million and LE0.38 million respectively.
On the other hand, Egyptian retail investors closed as net buyers recording a net flow of LE16.87.
EGX market capital gained LE1.60 billion to hit LE537.9 billion compared to LE539.5 billion on Thursday.
