The High Elections Commission is now receiving requests by Egyptian and international civil society organizations to monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections as of Monday until 31 January.
Committee spokesperson Medhat Idris said each organization would be given a code. “We will announce the organizations that were accepted,” he said.
“They can register on our website www.elections.eg,” he said. “Permits will be issued from 5 February to 14 March.”
