Egypt might be done with sending all invitations for its international economic summit, slated for 13-15 March in the resort city of Sharm al-Sheikh, before 20 January, Investment Minister Ashraf Salman said in statements on Wednesday.
Salman said invitations are to be given out to nearly 120 countries on the level of presidents, government heads, ministers and CEOs of multinational corporations, noting that 1,200 invitations have already been sent to investment and international cooperation ministers.
He said that the total number of invitees will be between 4,000 and 4,500.
The minister revealed that the conference’s website will go into operation on Thursday. He explained that the conference is aimed at unrolling Egypt’s economic plans for the next four years.
