A senior security source denied the arrest of Momtaz Daghmash, leader of the Army of Islam in Gaza, while in North Sinai.
In remarks to Al-Masry Al-Youm, the source said, “All news in this regard is untrue. Security services did not notice Daghmash presence in Sinai over the past few days.”
Military and police troops, according to the source, totally control common borders with Gaza. None of Hamas movement members have been arrested recently, he added.
