Syria said it was "deeply concerned" about what it called dangerous developments in Yemen after a Saudi-led military operation was launched against Shi'ite rebels on Thursday.
Syria's state television quoted a source at the Foreign Ministry who also said that Damascus urged Yemeni parties to engage in dialogue and reach a political solution.
