Wassim Nabil Abu Shanab, general coordinator of 30 June Coalition in Assiut, said the organization had filed a lawsuit at the Administrative Court against the president, the prime minister and the governor of Assiut, to demand compensation, as well as being included in the resolution of the National Council of Care for Families of the Revolution's Martyrs and Injured.
In remarks on Tuesday, Abu Shanab said, “We have taken this decision putting our hopes and trust in the Egyptian judiciary, in order to be fair with the families of martyrs and injured of 30 June in Assiut. We have faced injustice from the government.”
He also added that “Assiut governor refused to meet or recognize us.”
