Fugitive Salafi politician Mahmoud Fathy called on the supporters of toppled President Mohamed Morsi to stage protests on Tuesday.
The National Alliance to Suport Legitimacy also called for mass protests last Saturday.
In statements to the press, Fathy said that the protests aim to express the society's condemnation of the killing of protesters in Talibiya area on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
Six supporters of Egypt's outlawed Muslim Brotherhood were killed in clashes with the police near the Giza pyramids in Cairo on Friday, according to Reuters.
