Pope Pope Tawadros II left on a papal visit to Sweden, Denmark and the United States on Saturday, in order to connect with expatriate Coptic communities.
The pope will also go to Addis Ababa to meet with Ethiopian Patriarch Mathias I and participate in the Holy Cross celebrations.
In his last sermon, the Tawadros told the congregation that he will deliver his next sermon on the first Wednesday of November.
“Pray for me during my visit,” he said.
