Nashwa Rashad, a researcher at Helwan University, has presented a Ph.D. dissertation entitled “Community Organizations Facing Sexual Harassment” that addresses the challenges organizations face in their endeavor.
The thesis says that most of the employees working in these organizations are volunteers who work on raising awareness about the phenomenon and who use mechanisms of modern technology to increase communication between the various organizations.
It also tackles challenges faced by the organizations, including inexperience, poor skills, unclear job descriptions and lack of media coverage.
