Experts at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) are predicting unstable weather on Thursday, with clouds covering most of the country and heavy rainfall expected in the Sinai Peninsula and in the country’s north and Upper Egypt.
There will also be sharp drops in temperatures across the country.
Heightened wind speeds will cool temperatures and disturb maritime activity, with wave heights in the Mediterranean and Red seas expected to be between 3-4 meters and 2-2.5 meters respectively.
