Bomb squads dismantled a fake bomb placed near Pauline post office in Kafr al-Dawar City in Beheira on Monday morning, after residents suspected a strange object placed near the office and reported it to the police.
Security forces moved to the area and imposed a cordon around the object until bomb squads dismantled it using water cannons. The strange object turned out to be the structure of a bomb that did not contain any explosive material.
Snipper dogs were used to comb surrounding areas in search for other bombs.
