Meteorologists expect mild weather across most parts of Egypt on Sunday. Hot weather is anticipated in southern Upper Egypt during the day with mild to cold temperatures in all regions during the evening.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning in different parts to the north of the country. Low and medium level cloud cover is predicted on the North Coast and Lower Egypt. Light rainfall is expected across the northeastern coast.
Winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength, active in South Sinai, the western parts of the country, the Gulf of Suez and Red Sea governorate, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range from between 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly in both seas.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 28C in Cairo and 27C in Alexandria, 31C in Qena, 32C in Luxor, and 33C in Aswan.
