Meteorologists expect hot weather on Wednesday across Egypt, with very high temperatures in southern Upper Egypt, and more moderate temperatures along the north coast.
Temperatures predicted are 43C in Aswan, 42C in Luxor, 41C in Qena, 36C in Cairo and 30C in Alexandria.
Low-level clouds will appear over the northern parts of the country.
Winds are expected to be mostly northeastern and moderate in strength. They will be active throughout the south and South Sinai, accompanied by dust. Winds will be active also in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, affecting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea between 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwestern in both seas.
