Two tourist boats collided in the Nile while heading to Esna, south Luxor, leaving no injuries or deaths.
The tourism and antiquities police at Esna were notified about the collision, which occurred by al-Negou village, after which rescue teams and police immediately moved to the scene.
The collision occurred between Sun Time and Royal boats, which were both damaged from the accident.
Investigations revealed that the accident was caused by human error from one of the captains.
One of the damaged boats was transferred to Esna and the other continued on its journey normally. A claim was filed on the incident and prosecutors were notified for investigation.
