Meteorologists anticipate mild weather on Sunday across Egypt in the daylight hours, growing cold by night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 24C in Alexandria, 25C in Cairo, 27C in Qena, 28C in Luxor, and 28C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts and northern Upper Egypt in the morning. Low-level clouds are expected in different parts of the country accompanied by rainfall on northeastern coasts. Winds are expected to be northwestern and low.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with northeastern surface winds on the Red Sea and northeastern winds in the Mediterranean Sea.
On Friday, Egypt witnessed a wave of bad weather in several governorates, as the Ministry of Local Development followed through the cleanup after floods and rain. Many areas in the governorates of Alexandria and Kafr al-Sheikh, al-Behaira, al-Sharkia, and the Red Sea saw heavy rains and floods.
In Alexandria, a number of areas of the governorate were subjected to torrential rains, and fishing operations stopped at all ports. In the Red Sea, dozens of citizens affected by the heavy rains in Halayeb triangle demanded financial compensation for the losses of their houses and wooden stalls.
