Meteorologists predict mild weather for Thursday on the northern parts of Egypt until Lower Egypt and Cairo, with moderate temperatures for northern Upper Egypt.
Hot weather is expected southern Upper Egypt in the daylight. Temperatures will grow very cold at night.
Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are 21C in Alexandria, 24C in Cairo, 28C in Qena, 29C in Luxor and 30C in Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the northern parts of the country until northern Upper Egypt. Low and medium level clouds will cover the country’s northern parts.
Winds will be primarily northwestern and moderate, more active on South Sinai, and may blow up sand and dust. They will also be active on the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters with northwesterly surface winds on both seas.
