Meteorologists predict hot weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt on Thursday , and very hot weather in southern Upper Egypt during the daytime. Moderate weather is expected for the northern coasts during the daytime.
The weather will grow milder at night throughout the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 30C in Alexandria, 33C in Cairo, 38C in Qena, and 39C in Luxor and Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low and medium-level clouds anticipated.
Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate, active on the western coast, disturbing sands and dust in South Sinai and Upper Egypt, and possibly disturbing maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez, the Red Sea and west of the Mediterranean sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between two and 2.5 meters in height while waves in the Red Sea will be rough and range between 2.5 and three meters, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
