Meteorologists predict hot and humid weather on Wednesday during the day over Cairo, the Delta, and northern Upper Egypt.
Temperatures will be hotter in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt and cooler along the North Coast.
Weather will be moderate and humid at night over most parts of the country.
High temperatures for the following cities are:
Cairo: 35C
Alexandria: 31C
Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada: 39C
Qena: 39C
Luxor and Aswan: 41C
Active winds are expected in Cairo, southern Upper Egypt, and South Sinai, and along the North Coast reducing the humidity at night.
Light fog is expected in the morning on some roads leading to Cairo, the Delta, and the North Coast.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.75 and 2.25 meters in height with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
Another increase in temperatures is expected to begin Thursday, with the mercury rising between 2C and 4C. Southern Upper Egypt should expect highs of 42-43C.
