Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Labor and Immigration Hassan Shehata announced that the Eid al-Fitr holiday for the public and private sectors is scheduled to begin from Tuesday, April 9, until Sunday, April 14.
The Central Bank of Egypt announced the suspension of work in all banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, for a period of six days.
According to the bank’s statement, the holiday will take effect during the Eid period and will resume as of Monday morning, April 15.
