The Egyptian Meteorology Authority (EMA) expects hot weather to prevail in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt, becoming moderately hot on the northern coasts with very hot weather in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
Temperatures at night and the early morning will be moderate in the north of the country, and moderately hot in the south.
Weather maps revealed limited wind activity in most parts, especially open areas.
The EMA called on people to be careful while going out into the street, keep themselves hydrated, wear light cotton clothes, and avoid the sun during the peak and noon hours.
Expected temperatures on Saturday:
- Alexandria: 27C
- Cairo: 33C
- Hurghada, and Sharm el-Sheikh: 36C
- Luxor and Aswan: 39C
