The Commercial International Bank announced Monday that it has eased international spending limits on all credit cards inside and outside Egypt according to the type of each sector.
It also reduced the margin on foreign exchange rates for all cards to five percent instead of 10 percent.
The fee for cash withdrawal from ATMs outside Egypt has also been kept at 10 percent, with a minimum of LE20.
The bank raised the monthly limit for international purchases within Egypt for Prime and Plus sector customers to LE75,000 instead of LE50,000, and LE100,000 instead of LE50,000 for Wealth, Private, Business Banking, and Corporate sectors.
The bank adjusted the monthly limit for purchases outside Egypt for Prime sector customers to become LE 100,000 instead of LE 75,000 pounds, and LE 3,500 for cash withdrawal.
- The monthly limit for purchases outside Egypt for the Plus sector was raised to LE175,000 instead of LE 125,000, and LE 5,000 for cash withdrawal.
- International usage limits for monthly purchases for Wealth sector customers have increased to LE 250,000 instead of LE 175,000, and LE 8,000 for cash withdrawal.
- The monthly limit for purchases outside Egypt for Private sector customers has become LE 300,000 instead of LE 200,000 and LE 10,500 for cash withdrawal.
- The monthly limit for international purchases for the Business sector increased to LE 175,000 instead of LE 125,000 and LE 4,000 for cash withdrawals.
- The monthly limit for the Corporate sector was raised to LE 250,000 for purchases instead of LE 175,000 and 4,000 for cash withdrawals.
