The Cinema Culture Palace in Cairo’s Garden City will present a diverse array of films during July as part of the agenda of activities of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces and the programs of the Culture Ministry.
The films include international, classic, Arab cinema and the Animation Cinema Club, all of which are screened free of charge to the public at eight pm, with some films followed by seminars.
On Tuesday, “12 Angry Men (1997)” will be screened within the World Cinema Club, while on Wednesday the movie “Les Visiteurs (1993)” will be screened within the European Cinema Club.
The Novel and Film Club will screen the Arab film “al-Saqqa Mat” (1977) on July 22 and on July 23, the World Cinema Club will screen “News of the World (2020),” followed the next day by the film “ll Postino” (1994) at the European Cinema Club.
The Animation Cinema Club on July 29 will present Guillermo del Toro’s “Pinocchio (2023)” and the World Cinema Club will screen the movie “Darkest Hour” the next day.
The screenings will conclude at the end of the month with the screening of the film “Blow Up” (1966) within the European Cinema Club.
The program is implemented under the supervision of the Cinema Culture Palace, affiliated with the Central Administration for Studies and Research, and comes in light of the plan of the Culture Palaces Authority to spread awareness of cinematic culture.
