The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon currently, except for urgent reasons.
The ministry has also urged Egyptian citizens already present and residing in Lebanon to exercise the utmost caution and avoid areas experiencing tension, adhere to the instructions of the Lebanese authorities, and to stay in constant contact with the Egyptian embassy in Beirut.
EgyptAir announced on Monday that it has suspended its flights to Lebanon following the escalating conflict with Israel.
In a statement, Egypt’s national-flag carrier explained that it has cancelled its flights from Cairo to Beirut on Wednesday.
