US dollar and other currencies weaken against the Egyptian pound on Thursday

The Egyptian pound has gained significant strength against major currencies on Thursday.

In mid-day trading at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the US dollar has decreased by approximately 33 piasters for both buying and selling rates.

Other major Arab currencies have also declined against the Egyptian pound.

 

Exchange Rates at the NBE as of Thursday, September 25:

  • US Dollar: The dollar is currently trading at around LE48.31 for buying and LE48.41 for selling.
  • Kuwaiti Dinar: The Kuwaiti dinar is now trading at approximately LE157.64 for buying and LE158.70 for selling.
  • Saudi Riyal: The Saudi riyal is currently trading at around LE12.84 for buying and LE12.91 for selling.
  • UAE Dirham: The UAE dirham is currently trading at approximately LE13.14 for buying and LE13.18 for selling.
  • Qatari Riyal: The Qatari riyal is currently trading at approximately LE12.26 for buying and LE13.28 for selling.
