The Jerusalem Post reported on Saturday that Zeinab Nasrallah, daughter of the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah group Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in an Israeli raid on the southern suburb of Beirut on Friday evening.
The newspaper said: “If Zeinab’s death is confirmed, it could have significant symbolic implications for Hezbollah, and could potentially affect the party’s response to the escalating conflict with Israel.”
Israeli Channel 12 also reported that Zeinab Nasrallah was killed in the attack on the southern suburb of Beirut.
