Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi on Saturday 18/1/2025 inspected ambulances of the Egyptian Ambulance Authority in Abu Tawila Village in Sheikh Zuweid, North Sinai as per directives of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
The President had ordered to provide healthcare and medical assistance to Palestinian patients and evacuated injured Palestinians arriving to Egypt from the Gaza Strip.
The health minister had arrived earlier at Arish Airport on a visit to North Sinai governorate to oversee the medical services provided to Palestinians.
Spokesperson for the Health and Population Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said that the minister’s trip aimed to ensure the quality of healthcare services for patients and the injured and verify the availability of an ample supply of medicines, medical equipment, and blood of all types, as well as examine ambulance points and mobile clinics located in the vicinity of Al-Arish.
