The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) revealed the expected weather conditions for this week, announcing intermittent intervals of rain across Egypt starting on Tuesday for about 48 hours.
The EMA said that the chances of rain falling are more likely on areas of the northwestern coasts and Lower Egypt.
Monday’s weather will be moderate during the day in Greater Cairo, the northern coast and Lower Egypt, tending to be warm in northern Upper Egypt, and warm in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
The weather will be very cold at night and early in the morning in most parts, reaching the point of frost on crops in central Sinai.
Dense fog continues in the morning in areas from the north of the country to northern Upper Egypt, especially on agricultural and express roads and those close to water bodies.
Maritime navigation will continue to be rough in the Red Sea and the Gulfs of Suez and Aqaba, with wind speeds ranging from 40 to 60 kilometers per hour, while wave heights range from 2.5 to 3.5 meters amid active winds in South Sinai and the southern parts of the country at intermittent intervals.
The EMA urged to exercise caution while driving on highways and agricultural roads, especially in the early morning hours.
