Ali Farag, the world’s top-ranked men’s squash player, and Hania El Hammamy won the JP Morgan Squash Championship for men and women, which was held in New York, USA, from January 23rd to 31st. The prize money was $190,000 for men and the same for women.
In the final match, Farag defeated Peruvian Diego Elias 3-1. The set scores were 9-11, 12-10, 14-12, 11-1, and he won the title for the fourth time in his career.
Farag has captured multiple World Championship titles, solidifying his place among the squash greats.
