Sisi to participate in the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is set to travel to Qatar on Monday, to participate in the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, which will address Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza and acts of aggression.

Ambassador Mohamed al-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the presidency, explained that the President’s participation underscores Egypt’s full solidarity with Qatar, in both its government and its people.

It also embodies Egypt’s unwavering position to stand with its Arab and Muslim brethren in the face of Israel’s aggression, which blatantly violates all international conventions and norms.

Shenawy added that Sisi will deliver a speech on behalf of Egypt during the summit’s proceedings, outlining Cairo’s vision for the latest developments in the Middle East and reaffirming Egypt’s policy in supporting regional security and stability.

During the sidelines of the summit, Sisi is also scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation and coordination.
