Weather across Egypt continues to improve, mild temperatures for Wednesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects the weather to continue its slight improvement as summer draws to an end this week, with temperatures dropping and humidity levels continuing to rise across most parts of the country on Wednesday.

Weather maps show an increase in low and medium clouds in the north of the country, likely accompanied by a weak chance of light rain in different areas along the northern coast and the northern parts of Lower Egypt.

Winds will be active across most parts of the country, which will moderate the weather in the shade and during the night.

The EMA warned of marine navigation disruption along the Red Sea and Gulf of Suez coasts, with waves reaching two and a half meters above sea level.

Temperatures expected on Wednesday:

  • Matrouh: 29C
  • Alexandria: 30C
  • Cairo: 33C
  • Hurghada: 35C
  • Sharm El-Sheikh: 36C
  • Luxor: 38C
  • Aswan: 39C
