Emotional scenes as Palestinian prisoners reunited with families in West Bank

There have also been tearful reunions in the Israeli-occupied West Bank today as Palestinian prisoners who had been serving long sentences in Israeli jails arrived in Ramallah.

Some of the prisoners had been in jail for two decades.

Live video showed some of them hugging their wives and families soon after stepping off buses that had brought them from Ofer prison.
